At "The Vet Centre" we provide care for pets large or small, as well as farm animals and horses. We are a friendly team of four vets and five support staff offering quality and value health care for your pet.

"The Vet Centre" has locations in Hallam and Pakenham (see map).  We also offer a house call service which is valued by those not able to get their animals to the vet.

We offer a range of payment options including Cash, EFTPOS and Credit Card.
Our Vets carry a mobile EFTPOS terminal to house calls.
For those who qualify finance can be accessed via Take Home Lay-By and Care Credit for bills over $300.

Emergencies

In the event of an emergency during our normal office hours please call ahead to ensure a veterinary surgeon is available (see map).   At "The Vet Centre" we understand your animal may require attention outside normal consulting hours. We provide 24 hour emergency advice with a follow up service offered at your home, our clinic or an all night emergency centre critical care facility. For after hour emergencies, call the 24 hr phone number 1300 852 052.

If there is no answer, please leave a message with the paging service, and be sure to leave your name, pet's name, nature of the emergency and your phone number . We will be happy to answer questions concerning your emergency.

On the rare occasion that the on call vet does not return your call within 15 minute (ie. seeing another emergency), please contact the full service 24 hour emergency hospital listed below.
